The e-Procurement System also called the Electronic – Government Procurement (E-GP) System is the use of Information and Communications Technology (especially the internet) by governments in conducting their procurement relationships with suppliers for the acquisition of goods, works, and consultancy services required by the public sector.
Kasenengwa Town Council has moved all procurement processes for goods and services to the e-GP system on the ZPPA website.
This move comes in the wake of the Local Authority continuing to find innovative, transparent, efficient, and accountable ways of providing the much-needed services to the people.
All service providers, suppliers and contractors intending to do business with the Local Authority in the areas of works, supply of goods and services must be registered with ZPPA and will only be able to bid for tenders via the e-GP platform provided by the Zambia Public Procurement Authority.
The e-GP system enhances transparency, reduces procurement cycle times, and improves efficiency in public procurement processes. It provides equal opportunities for all bidders and reduces physical interactions that could lead to corruption.
All suppliers must register with ZPPA to participate in Kasenengwa Town Council tenders. Registration ensures your business is visible to all government agencies and allows you to receive tender notifications.
The entire procurement process from tender advertisement to award will be conducted through the e-GP platform. This includes bid submission, evaluation, and notification of awards - all done electronically.
